Join us for an evening that celebrates connection, community, and the exciting next steps for Dakota Prairie Commons! Our Community Launch Social is your chance to be part of the energy that’s building around South Dakota’s first cohousing neighborhood.
Hosted at Cee Cee’s Kitchen & Bar, this gathering will be a night of laughter, fun, and meaningful conversation as we come together to honor the local partners and supporters who are helping bring Dakota Prairie Commons to life. You’ll meet neighbors, explore the vision for our community, and find inspiration in the momentum already underway.
Come share a drink, meet new friends, and help us build the foundation of a neighborhood where people truly know and support one another.
Join us for a full-day, hands-on workshop designed for Dakota Prairie Commons Explorers and Members. This is an exciting moment in our journey—a chance to learn together, build relationships, and take meaningful steps toward shaping South Dakota’s first cohousing community.
Explorer Status Encouraged
This workshop is created for those who want to be more deeply involved in Dakota Prairie Commons. If you’re not yet an Explorer but are feeling curious or inspired, we warmly invite you to take that next step by becoming an Explorer. The $200 Explorer fee includes your workshop registration and opens the door to deeper engagement with our forming community.
Becoming an Explorer is the best way to participate fully, meet future neighbors, and help shape what Dakota Prairie Commons will become.

At the conclusion of the workshop, we will invite all Explorers to consider taking the next step and Become Equity Members of Dakota Prairie Commons.
Equity Members get priority home selection when homes become available and have a meaningful voice in decisions that will impact the design, layout, and feel of the community.
